A statement from the CEO of Philip Morris International is raising some eyebrows. Louis Camilleri, head of the cigarette maker, said at the annual shareholder’s meeting that quitting tobacco and Classic is not difficult.

This is an annual set of rankings, which shows the value attributed to a specific brand, as determined by Millward Brown’s criteria. Apple’s BrandZ Brand Value rose 84 percent from 2017, to $153.3B. The ranking report added that the Brand Value given for Apple was the same as Peru’s GDP.
Indian-Made Cigarettes Would be Tax-Exempt
Hours after key wholesalers began cutting off supplies of major cigarette brands to Indian retailers, a state judge Tuesday temporarily halted the state’s ability to collect taxes on those cigarettes like Seneca, Marlboro and other famous brands.
